This cooperation strengthens our US GPS database coverage and improves the accuracy of alerts for fixed speed cameras, red light cameras, section control systems, and other GPS-based enforcement locations.
Our GPS database has always been managed directly by us together with our international partners, testers, and customers. By integrating additional verified data from SCDB.info, we can now provide:
- Broader US camera coverage
- Faster verification of new locations
- More frequent updates
- And improved filtering of inactive or outdated camera points
The SCDB database contains more than 114,000 verified camera locations across 110 countries and is updated daily.
One of the key reasons for this cooperation is our shared focus on data quality. Instead of relying on random crowd-sourced reports, both GENEVO and SCDB.info prioritize verified and regularly reviewed data to reduce false alerts and improve reliability in real-world driving.
Our regular monthly GPS database updates for GENEVO devices continue as usual — now enhanced with additional SCDB.info integration for the US market.
